What is free and what is paid
Creating and running a standard IconBattle blind test is free. The only optional paid feature is First Look: a sponsored placement for a Battle that a new voter may see first.
First Look is a time-sensitive auction. A later, higher paid bid may replace the current placement. The bid does not buy votes, change voting weight or guarantee impressions, visits, installs or business results.
When to contact us
If a paid First Look placement cannot be activated because of an IconBattle technical error, contact us within 14 days of payment with the Paddle receipt or transaction reference. We will investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a refund or other resolution through Paddle.
Before payment, review the bid amount, currency and checkout summary carefully. A bid becomes effective only after Paddle confirms payment.
What is generally not refundable
- A completed First Look placement that was delivered as sponsored exposure.
- A placement that is later superseded by a higher paid bid, which is an inherent disclosed part of the auction.
- A change of mind, a desired outcome that did not occur, or a lack of a particular number of votes, visits, downloads or revenue.
- A Battle removed or limited because submitted material violates our Terms or applicable law.
How refunds work
Payments and any approved refunds are processed through Paddle and returned to the original payment method when available. Paddle may apply its own review and processing requirements. This policy does not limit any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you.
